NASA Multiplex contracted Fabquip to design, manufacture and hire a jumpform system to construct the core to this 61 storey building on Al Rheem Island in Abu Dhabi.
The core is over 1,800 sq. metres of formed wall construction per floor over a height of 257 metres (61 Floors). A typical pour height per floor is 4.2 metres.
The whole system is being constructed on a specially built area on site with most of the system comprising local UAE sourced product.
We anticipate the jumpform to be operational in October 2009 and completed in approximately 80 weeks.
