Gloucester Street, The Rocks

We designed, manufactured and hired a jump system for this project to assist in construction of the structure for this 31 storey building, plus 5 Basements, in the middle of 'The Rocks' area of Sydney.

Our system was installed on the bottom slab (Basement 5) over a lift pit constructed by others.  At Level 3, there was a major change to the shape of one of the cores which was rotated 90 degrees and a stairwell core introducted.  The addition of some new walls also required External Shear Key beams to be introduced.

The surface area of the cores is approximately 10,250 sq m in total.  The surface area per floor commenced at 223 sq m per floor increasing to 346 sq m per floor from Level 3.  The anticipated construction period is 40 weeks.
