Sydney Olympic Stadium, Homebush

Fabquip designed, manufactured and hired slipform equipment for this prestigious project, the centrepiece of the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

The project comprised:

• 8 separate slipforms supporting the main grandstands and housing amenity blocks, food vendors etc; and
• 4 slipforms for core towers within Acer Arena Stadium; and
• 4 circular jumpforms containing lift shafts and stairs which supported the spiral access ramps.

Our works commenced in May 1997 and completed in October 1997, the stadium was completed in February 1999.
